Strong Academic Foundations

 

Every student deserves a strong academic foundation. Students need to master essential skills in reading, writing, mathematics, and other core subjects while continuing to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and study skills. We should support students who are falling behind, challenge students who are ready for more, and make sure every student has the opportunity to reach their full academic potential.

Preparing Students for Their Future

 

Education should prepare students for more than graduation. Students should leave L’Anse Creuse prepared for the path that comes next — whether that means college, skilled trades, the military, or a career. We should help students develop the knowledge, confidence, work ethic, and practical skills they need to succeed.

 

PRIORITY 03

Strong Schools, Strong Community

 

We should listen to teachers, parents, and students and encourage open communication, use taxpayer resources responsibly, and make decisions based on what is best for students and the long-term strength of the district.
